Each vehicle has a driver and crewman (security officer) to ensure that the transportation service is carried out in a timely manner. The crewman is responsible for on-board communications to the Control Room, all documentation required for this service and for checking personnel ID’s upon entry to vehicles, to ensure that only authorised delegate’s board for transport.
Corps Security also offers a variety of escort services which can be tailored to your requirements. From discrete armed officers to armed and unarmed trailing escort vehicles. Our drivers are professionally trained, have strict guidelines under which to operate and are contactable and GPS monitored at all times.
All of our vehicles are air conditioned, kept in pristine condition both inside and out at all times, and are sanitised and cleaned twice per day & after each transport run. Note that smoking, betelnut and food & alcohol consumption are strictly prohibited in all of Corps Security vehicles.
CASH IN TRANSIT (CIT)
Corps Security has a well established reputation for delivering a CIT service to our clients which is second to none in Port Moresby. This has been established through the professionalism of our department, coupled with rigorous procedures to ensure the best possible care is taken of our clients’ valuables.
Corps Security has been operating this service in Port Moresby for more than 20 years. Included in this is the overnight vault storage. We offer what we believe to be the only 100% guaranteed insurance coverage to our clients who utilise these services.
The personnel involved with these operations are those from our Armed Services division. All personnel are trained to international standards by Australian Company “Tactical Gear Distributors”. All of our CIT vehicles are fully armoured to international standards – adding further confidence to our clients of the safety of their valuables.
An extension of this service is our ability to transport cash/valuables to remote areas in PNG. The highest level of professionalism is taken with these operations and Corps Security is proud of the varying clients we maintain and the level of interest shown in our CIT and Airlift Operations.
ARMED GUARDING
Corps Security’s Armed Security Officers, rigorously trained and disciplined, boast backgrounds in disciplined forces or proven expertise within the company.
They undergo meticulous assessment and regular firearm proficiency evaluations by senior management with military backgrounds. Quarterly specialized training by Ares Concept Australia ensures readiness for various security tasks, including Close Personal Protection and emergency guarding. With options for uniformed or discreet Close Personal Protection, Armed Security Officers are deployed alongside Static Officers or Dog and Handler units for comprehensive security solutions.
Maintaining professionalism and compliance with PNG Law, the Armed Services Unit is independently managed and audited for accountability, ensuring client safety and security under the oversight of the Operations management team.
STATIC GUARDING
Static Guarding is currently the most utilised security service to our clients. It offers a uniformed presence and deterrent for the client as well as the ability to call for suitable response should a situation require. Often, Static Officers are deployed in conjunction with other services such as Dog and Handler units or Alarm Monitoring (as initial response).
Typically Static Officers are deployed to; maintain vehicle/pedestrian access, carry out perimeter patrols, control ‘Front of House’ reception and visitor management, Event Security and monitor sites with valuable equipment.
Our clients can be assured that our Officers have been selected and trained under some of the most rigorous standards in the industry. This is further enhanced by a high level of management support and monitoring. Our Officers are equipped with radios which report directly back to our 24/7 “B Specification” communication Centre. Through this network, response teams are dispatched and Police involvement gained if the situation warrants.
Corps Security maintains a high standard for all our Officers regarding hygiene, cleanliness and appearance. Officers are required to maintain these standards whilst on duty and understand that whilst they are employees of Corps Security, they are also a public image associated with our clients.
Prior to deployment (or as soon as is practicable), a site assessment
is carried out by the Operations team. From this information, site specific assignment instructions are drafted and upon approval from the client, the instructions from the basis which our Officers, Supervisors and Mobile Supervisors carry out their individual duties.
All client sites are subject to the physical site checks by our Mobile Supervisors and also required to comply with the regular radio ‘SitReps’. This is regardless of the type of guarding service provided.

Dog and Handler units are generally deployed with a Static Guard, and utilized in areas where there are wider expanses to secure or where the possible threat is of a higher level. Prominent sectors such as Diplomatic missions, Banking institutions and various construction sites have all expressed a high level of satisfaction with The Corps K9 service.
TRACKING, MONITORING AND RESPONSE
Corps Security has partnered with Australian Company, “Venturi” to deliver what we believe to be the most sophisticated and reliable GPS/GPRS tracking system available in
PNG.
Our clients vary from Diplomatic, Financial and private sectors. They utilise the system for firstly, the safety of their personnel and secondly, for asset management. Depending on the requirements of our clients, the product and service can be tailored to suit their purposes. Reports can be generated outlining fleet usage and this can be aligned with particular personnel or drivers.
The ‘duress’ function is sent directly to Corps Security’s 24/7 communication and monitoring centre. In place are reliable processes for the appropriate response. Once personnel are safe, the asset management/retrieval can then be addressed. There are a multitude of services which can be utilised through the back end software which incurs no further cost to the client. The support or “help desk” will be able to activate these for you in a short matter of time.
In addition, there are additional sensors which can be added on after initial installation, depending on the base unit chosen. These include
breathalysers, speed limiters, Driver ID, fuel monitoring, temperature and immobiliser functions.
For the best outcome, please contact Corps Security for a demonstration. We can assist putting forward a package to address any of your fleet or personal vehicle requirements.
